This is excellent. It took me longer to think up some sample questions than it did to do all the rest. There are several ways that people can vote but it looks as though the simplest is to add some simple code to a web page, blog or VLE like the example below. You can vote too if you like and then you'll see how the results get displayed. I suppose SMS or other votes cost money but this is free. You should be able to add something here. This new example should feature your comments within a matter of minutes - amazing! (Well, the first 30, at any rate*.)This could also be displayed as a PowerPoint slide with live updates. I can see this being really useful at future events and will definitely be using it a lot in the classroom.
*I shall try and post new polls so come back again if the 30 have been used up on the current one.

I think it is pretty amazing the possiblity to use mobiles and to embedd a poll into a Power Point presentation. However, we need to consider that it is not completly free as it comes with different plans (from $15 to $1,400). The free option allows to collect 30 responses, so if you have a broader audience you must change your plan.

You can have lots of different polls - and 30 active and quick responses from a class is probably about 27 more than I usually get ;) A
